The Process if You Are Starting a Newsletter From Scratch

  1. We speak with you to understand your audience, goals and the key messages you want to convey.

  2. Together, we establish the newsletter's scope, structure and design.

  3. We design the newsletter and submit it for your approval.

  4. Concurrently, you send us story ideas and recommend executives we should interview for each story. We provide input on the ideas, and may suggest more story ideas and additional people to contact.

  5. We research the story topics and conduct the interviews.

  6. Once interviews are completed, we write, edit and proofread the stories. We add photographs or other graphics and write captions. If you wish, we send the stories to the interview sources for approval.

  7. The stories are forwarded to you.

  8. On your approval, we lay the newsletter out according to the agreed-upon design.

  9. Of course, you have final say. We make any revisions you request to the copy or design.

  10. If you prefer, we handle next steps too. We'll get the newsletter printed and mailed, and if it's an online newsletter, we'll set up and oversee its email distribution.
